MIDWEST ADP
SATOP SCREENINGS
The first step in the Missouri SATOP process is completing an assessment screening. Through Midwest ADP, you now have the ability to complete your SATOP screening online. The screening will consist of a $375 fee payment, completion of a screening instrument, which we can offer online or over the phone, and then a personalized interview with one of our certified substance use counselors. Our counselor will review your screening instrument results, driving record, and interview and recommend you to one of the SATOP service program levels, and you will not have to make a trip to our office.
If you have been engaged in treatment after your DWI, please call us at 816-836-2220. Depending on the circumstances, your treatment may satisfy SATOP requirements.
1
Complete your payment.
You'll receive a 6-digit authorization code in your e-mail with your receipt.
2
Complete questionnaire
You'll need your authorization code to start. Once you finish the questionnaire, select a time and date for our counselor to call you.*
*Please contact us if you are under the age of 18 or prefer to take the test in Spanish.
3
Counselor Interview
Our counselor will call you during your selected time window to review your questionnaire answers, your driving record, and ask you some questions about the time you were pulled over. Finally, they'll make a program assignment based on these factors.
When you're ready, click HERE to get started. The screening takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. You'll be asked to pay for your screening before completing the questionnaire, which you can complete online using either a computer or your smartphone. (If you've already paid for your screening, you can skip straight to the QUESTIONNAIRE to start taking your test. You will be asked for the authorization code that came in your payment notification email.)
As you're completing the online screening questionnaire, you'll be asked to select a date, time, and phone number for one of our substance use counselors to contact you to complete the screening process. Please note: SATOP screening phone interviews are currently being scheduled approximately one week in advance.
Finally, make sure you're available to receive a phone call at the time you selected. Our counselor will call you to review your screening results, driving record, and ask you questions about your DWI arrest. Based on this information, the counselor will make a SATOP programming recommendation, then mail your SATOP Program Assignment Form. Once you receive your assignment, you will be all set to schedule your SATOP class.
